STEM EDUCATION
STEM education is the integration of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, and their associated practices. This is to create a student-centered learning environment. In such an environment students investigate and engineer solutions to problems. They construct evidence-based explanations of real-world phenomena. This enables them to get a primary focus on their social, emotional, physical, and academic needs. Such needs can be managed through shared contributions of schools, families, and community partners.
Yuvaan Educative LLP has developed various STEM based training modules to cater to the needs of school candidates. Using our content, we have imparted training to over 5000 government school students of secondary level and degree level across Assam across all 33 districts of the state. A dedicated team of experts at the corporate office of Yuvaan Educative LLP in Guwahati develops the entire STEM course. The content helps students in getting prepared for 21st Century Skills. Yuvaan Educative LLP has created its own legacy in STEM-based education in schools. This is despite the fact that STEM-based learning is relatively new in the state of Assam.
STEM COURSE BY YUVAAN EDUCATIVE LLP
The specially designed STEM course caters to the needs of the local children and strives to achieve the larger objectives of the state government. With this in mind, the academic team constantly upgrades the content and teaching pedagogy of STEM training. This ensures new age learning outcomes for the candidates.
Post STEM training our team tries to measure cognitive engagement through various tools to map the learning outcomes of the participants. This results in helping the candidates engaging in the STEM concepts.
Some initiatives taken by the Government of India in promoting STEM are:
Atal Tinkering Labs (ATL): As part of its mission to strengthen the education system, NITI Aayog has worked to serve students with a mindset of practical learning. It is aimed at kids in India from kindergarten through high school and provides them with a space to explore, discover, and form their thoughts about the many fascinating fields that make up modern science.
I-STEM Initiative: Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi unveiled I-STEM, a national gateway for science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, in January 2022. The Government of India’s Principal Scientific Adviser Office is the driving force behind this initiative.
