CODE OF CONDUCT
FOR VOCATIONAL SERVICE PROVIDER
  • The Vocational Service Provider( VSP) will act with honesty and integrity at all times on and off service delivery hours and will not be directly or indirectly involved in any kind of criminal activity, financial manipulation, cheating etc.
  • The Vocational Service Provider will keep students’ academic interest and future career prospects as his/her top priority while delivering services and chalking out his/her action plan on any professional or personal matter.
  • The Vocational Service Provider will maintain a healthy Teacher-Student relation and will keep himself/herself updated on POSH guidelines and the provisions of the POCSO Act.
  • The Vocational Service Provider will adhere to digital and physical attendance policies at all times.
  • The Vocational Service Provider will adhere to notice period policies In the case of voluntary separation and serve a minimum of 30 day notice period (excluding public holidays). Notice period will not be considered during summer vacations or other such time periods during which the designated academic unit is non-functional.
  • The Vocational Service Provider will not leave base location (viz district/town/village/city) of engagement without pre approvals from office authority.
  • The Vocational Service Provider will not take any unauthorized leave of absence during the service tenure.
  • The Vocational Service Provider will involve himself/herself in anti-organizational behaviour, forming or being part of unauthorized groups/unions, events or any controversy that can put the service providing organization in bad light.
  • The Vocational Service Provider will maintain professional decorum on social media and stay away from controversial posts, anti-organizational, any establishment forums, comments etc.
  • The Vocational Service Provider will complete academic and administrative tasks related to guest lectures, hands on skills training, career fair, extra value added academic and practical learning activity, celebration of important events, student engagement activity and all other tasks as directed by office authority by adhering to quality guidelines and official deadlines.
  • The Vocational Service Provider will be actively engaged in logistical coordination for receipt of laboratory items and academic materials that may occasionally be delivered beyond normal service delivery hours at the discretion of the transport dispatching organization.
  • The Vocational Service Provider will be maintaining confidentiality in terms of official data, official action plans, documents, strategies and other matters both during the service contract and even in case of voluntary/involuntary separation.
  • The Vocational Service Provider will be bound by the ex-contractor responsibility, that necessitates being available at the original place of engagement or office of the engaging authority during a special situation that may require his/her physical presence for handover, testimony and other related purposes.
  • The Vocational Service Provider will not make any commitments to any internal or external parties on behalf of the engaging organization and will not try to represent the organization in press, media or in any other private or public forum either through written statements or verbal remarks.

The Vocational Service Provider will refrain from canvassing for people known to him/her for fulfilling open positions at any location that falls under the purview of the engagement authority.

Please note that violations of the code of conduct can lead to termination of service contract and also lead to initiation of further disciplinary action based on severity of the situation.
